Seminar on October 28, 2021, re: GHI’s Master Insurance Policy vs. HO-6 Personal Insurance Policy

Some members of Greenbelt Homes Inc. may assume they and their possessions are covered against loss by GHI’s master insurance policy; however, this is not the case. GHI’s master insurance policy provides insurance coverage against typical hazards and perils that may affect a member’s unit, but this coverage does not usually extend to improvements and betterments a member has installed in their unit, personal property , or personal liability. Members should consider purchasing an individual HO-6 policy that can provide coverage for unit improvements and betterments, personal property, additional living expenses , personal liability, and loss assessments.

On October 28, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., Ms. Theresa Melson, Senior Vice President of USI Insurance Services LLC. (GHI’s Insurance Broker) will conduct a live virtual seminar to discuss GHI’s master insurance policy and HO-6 personal insurance that members should obtain to complement the broad coverage in GHI’s master policy. Members are highly encouraged to attend this seminar.
