Temporary Garden Structures

The Sunday advertising sections for the next few weeks will be tempting you to "create your garden oasis". This is the season when the outdoor grilles, chaise lounges, dining sets, and yard items get top billing.

Often members find an interest in putting up a steel-framed canopy or gazebo , or cantilevered umbrella  for shade, or even a screen room for protection from insects. The GHI Board of Directors allows these types of structures on a temporary basis, provided that the member agree to remove them by October 1st of the calendar year.

If you wish to install such a temporary yard structure, complete a Statement of Responsibility for Temporary Structure & Removal, and file it with the Technical Services office.
