Tree Plantings
Our woodland parcels and other common areas are wooded but sometimes new plantings are necessary. GHI is seeking volunteers to lend a hand to plant a tree and help us maintain our native plant nursery for the GHI woodlands. To get involved contact George Bachman, 301.474.4161 x132.
Weed Warriors: Invasive Plant Removal Team
Controlling the spread of invasive plants in our woodlands is a lot of work. We need help from members young and old. Our Weed Warriors are trained to identify and remove invasive plants and to help educate other members. Join our team to keep Greenbelt "green!"

Woodland Clean Ups
Help clean up trash and debris in our woodland parcels. Workdays are open to all and are fun for the entire family. Trash bags, gloves, and other supplies are provided. Join us to keep the woods clean.
