GHI Member-to-Member COVID-19 Relief Fund

We’re a cooperative. Let’s cooperate! The COVID-19 financial crisis has hit some of our members hard. Some of us are in a position to help our neighbors. Let’s pass the hat to pay down member co-op fees deferred under the GHI COVID fee deferral policy.
 

To address these challenging times, GHI has allowed members to defer up to four months of fees under a special COVID-19 emergency fee deferral policy. A member-to-member COVID-19 relief fund was set up to help neighbors make it through this difficult time -- because as a cooperative, we are all in this together.

As approved by the GHI Board of Directors on August 20, the funds raised by the relief fund will be directly transferred to GHI to forgive deferred fees due to the COVID-19 financial crisis and reduce the amount that the affected members will have to pay back to GHI beginning in January 2021.

To date, the fees deferred total $16,440. We want to raise enough to completely forgive the deferred fees.
