Greenbelt Homes, Inc. (GHI) is committed to making its website accessible to the widest possible audience, including individuals with disabilities. Ensuring the web accessibility of a site is an industry standard these days. Efforts toward web accessibility benefit all users, but GHI has a specific commitment to older users and users with disabilities because of our unique placement in the “inclusive community” of Greenbelt, Maryland.

 What other content on this site might present barriers to web accessibility?

• Portable Document Formats (PDFs): Many of the documents on this site are in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF). We strive to ensure, but cannot guarantee, the accessibility of PDF documents created by third parties and posted on the GHI website. Publications in PDF can only be viewed and printed using the Adobe Acrobat Reader, version 3.0 or higher. Download Acrobat Reader.
• Microsoft PowerPoint and Word Files: You can view our online publications that are in Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) format if you have any version of PowerPoint installed on your computer. We strive to ensure, but cannot guarantee, the accessibility of PowerPoint presentations created by third parties and posted on the GHI website. For those who don't have the software, the Microsoft Corporation offers a FREE PowerPoint file viewer. Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) documents can also be viewed with many other word processing software programs. Additionally, Microsoft offers a FREE Word file viewer.
